I have spent 4 nights here during the peak time so I am quite eligible for the genuine review , it was last minute booking as my family made planning just 2 days prior , was lucky enough to get the room below are the pros and cons Pros 1. Lotus family suite was allotted to us and it was neat and spacious. 2. Service was quick. 3. Food was good but I believe it was on a expensive side by 10-15% 4. Cabs and electric vehicle was booked by the hotel which was hassle free . 5. During the peak time was able to get vip protocol darshan of lord shiva with sparsh darshan , which was wonderful experience, thanks to the management. Cons : 1. No lift in the premises. 2. Our suite was allocated in second floor , there was no WiFi for entire 4 days of my stay . ~ DHANUSH P

Nous avons passé 5 jours super en famille (4). Abhni était au petit soin pour nous. Ils nous a donné beaucoup d'idées, organisé des activités, réservé les billets de train pour notre départ. Ns recommandons vivement Golden Lotus. Le lieu n'est pas au centre mais a le grand avantage d'être dans un lieu calme tout en étant proche du centre, environ 5-7 minutes en tuk tuk. ~ Raphaël R

Simply Wow! My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby. Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people. My experience at the GOLDEN LOTUS was EXCELLENT from the very first moment of contact and communication over WhatsApp. I felt cared for and all of my questions and concerns were answered. The hotel is beautiful and obviously well cared for, the staff - so kind and helpful. I loved the conversations that I had as well as the attention to detail with all services they offered and helped me to find. I have a private guided tour of Varanasi and attended aarti and felt safe and I was so happy. The location is perfect for excursions and the management arranged all if my transportation. Had a wonderful stay in the property with my family in a Family suite. I had a very very last minute booking and managed to connect immediately with the owner cum manager Mr Abhinav. He guided us with specifics and made our visit a successful one. I didn't had any plan in mind for the things we could do/see in banares and period of stay but was guided very well. Comfort of my family more important for me rather than rushing to one place after another. For me, the location was bit off but otherwise the place interiors were nice and well maintained. Staff very very friendly. Suggest the upkeep of the place and few other things to make it even better. Recommended place and would love to be Mr Abhinav's guest again in future. ~ Ashish K

Ostello pulito e silenzioso. Abhi ci ha accolto di notte nonostante non avessimo effettuato la prenotazione. Wonderful stay at Golden Lotus, Varanasi I had a very pleasant stay at Golden Lotus. The staff is extremely friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made the experience even better. The rooms are clean, hygienic, and well maintained, providing a comfortable and peaceful stay. Although the hotel is a little away from the main ghat and mandir area, it is well worth it for the cleanliness and calm environment. The staff is very cooperative and ensures guests feel at home. After having problems with our previous hotel reservation, we booked this hotel on the same day. The manager and staff were very kind and helpful, even upgraded us free of charge to a bigger room, which was a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and clean, for the price it's a bargain. It has a grocery shop with local prices right next to it, and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, all fairly priced, and with good tasting food. Only downside is that the location is a bit further from the city center, however they can call you a tuk tuk at any time and it's approximately 15min from the center. Golden Lotus is an excellent hotel with very specious rooms. The location and approach road is little concerning. Do not follow Google maps to reach the location as it goes through extreme narrow roads. Instead call the hotel before reaching there as there is a better alternative approach road to property. The food in the hotel was very good . The rooms are super clean and nice. Little far from Ghats and temple but if you are visiting with your own vehicle better to stay at this place and then visit temple. They will arrange the boat ride and taxi for you on your request. ~ RAVI S

Wir haben uns sehr wohl und beraten gefühlt bei Abhinav. Er war stets für uns erreichbar und half uns bei allen Fragen. Die Zimmer kommen schon einer Wohnung gleich. Sind sehr groß und für indische Verhältnisse gut ausgestattet. Der einzige negative Punkt ist die Lage. Man muss jedes Mal ein Taxi oder ein Tuktuk nehmen, um in die Innenstadt zu gelangen. I had a really pleasant stay at Golden Lotus Hotel in Varanasi. The staff here is exceptionally kind and helpful – they truly go above and beyond for their guests. One night when I wasn’t feeling well, they even arranged soda late at night to help with my stomach ache, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We have booked family room with 2 bedroom and a living room. I loved the interior and thought given to detailings in the rooms and premises. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, clean and more importantly it was homely. Situated in peaceful area away from the traffic, its the best option if you are planning to visit kashi temple and other ghats nearby. Its only 3-4 km from the temple area. We recently stayed at this hotel in Varanasi and had a wonderful experience overall. While the location is slightly away from the central temple area, it offers excellent value for money, especially considering the apartment setup (2 rooms, attached bathroom, and kitchen), which would typically cost much more elsewhere. The main hotspots for rickshaw stands and transportation are just 500 meters away, and it cost us around ₹100-₹150 to reach the ghats and the Kashi Vishwanath Temple—very convenient and affordable. During our stay, we encountered a minor electrical issue in our room. However, the hotel staff handled the situation promptly and professionally by immediately shifting us to another room and arranging a complimentary drop-off ride as compensation. This gesture was thoughtful, and we appreciated the generosity and attentiveness of the manager and staff. The rooms are just wonderful. Very comfortable but most important was the positive behavior of the owner of this property.he had a very cool approach to the any problems arising. We arrived at the hotel and were ready to check in... unfortunately there were problems with the system (which can happen) and we didn't get the room we booked (which wasn't a big difference except that we missed the couch with the big living room).
